Underpinned by the MBTI® framework, this practical workshop provides models, activities, and resources to help you create impactful team development sessions for a variety of applications.
This one-day workshop builds on the knowledge you gained from the MBTI® Certification Program. You’ll learn how to contract for, design, deliver, and evaluate in-person and virtual team development workshops using the MBTI® Step I™ assessment—including how to help teams address a variety of issues, improve team effectiveness, and appreciate differences. After the workshop, you’ll be able to create your own tailored team development sessions, choosing effective activities and approaches to meet the needs of the team you’re working with.
On successful completion of this workshop, you will be able to apply the skills you have learned to:
- Contract effectively with workshop sponsors.
- Plan and design purpose-led team development workshops.
- Effectively facilitate a team development workshop, leading a range of MBTI-based team activities and guiding teams in action planning for continued development.
- Use a variety of techniques to evaluate the impact of your intervention.
- Understand the stages of building and facilitating MBTI team workshops from initial request to evaluation.
- Explore models and theories relevant to team development, including Lencioni’s Five Dysfunctions of a Team, the Tuckman Model, and the Johari Window.
- Experience MBTI team activities in action, know what to observe, and understand how and when to use feedback.
- Learn facilitator tips to run effective workshops with a variety of team setups, including remote, hybrid, and mobile teams.
- Establish processes for action planning, following up, and evaluating the return on investment of your workshops.
