President and Chief Executive Officer

John Maketa is a seasoned executive with deep expertise in the human capital and talent measurement sector. John’s career began at The Myers-Briggs Company when it was known as CPP, where he developed a thorough understanding of our history, marketplace, methodology and offerings. John then assumed key leadership positions at Pearson TalentLens and Performance Assessment Network. In both roles, he was responsible for accelerated revenue generation and product innovation to increase the valuation of both organizations during his tenure. John then spent several years overseeing business operations and the revenue team at Caliper Corp. During this time, he orchestrated a strategy to drive organic growth by harnessing pockets of excellence, making investments in new product innovation, and upgrading the marketing and sales functions. In addition to these leadership roles, John has worked as a due diligence advisor for various investment firms in the L&D and technology sectors.

Liam OConnor Chief Financial and Administrative Officer

Chief Financial and Administrative Officer

Liam oversees the financial stability of all of The Myers-Briggs Company's operations. He provides robust financial management to help The Myers-Briggs Company meet its ambitious strategic objectives, including new product development and further international expansion. Liam joined The Myers-Briggs Company (formerly OPP Limited in Oxford) in 2011 and has overseen the development of the business including the disposal of subsidiary entities.

Liam is a chartered accountant with over 25 years’ financial experience, having worked in public practice, multinational PLCs and SMEs. He brings expertise from the software, pharmaceutical and fleet-management sectors, with a focus on strong cash management and driving profit across the business. Liam is also a qualified business coach having trained with Meyler Campbell in the UK.

Bill Chapman, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer

Senior Vice President of Global Sales

As a seasoned sales and business development executive, Steve Nolan brings to The Myers-Briggs Company a wealth of experience in the workforce solutions markets as our Senior Vice President of Global Sales. With a focus on expanding and opening B2B markets by building trust and innovatively illustrating the value of his products, Steve has an established track record in the Fortune 1000, government and non-profit markets. Steve comes to The Myers-Briggs Company from Penn Foster where he managed their global sales portfolio. Previously, he worked as Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development at LearningExpress LLC. Steve earned his BA in Economics from Syracuse University and resides in Virginia with his wife and kids.

Thaddeus G. Stephens, Vice President, Corporate Development, General Counsel and Secretary

Vice President, Corporate Development, General Counsel and Secretary

Thad Stephens joined The Myers-Briggs Company in 2011. He oversees the Legal & Licensing Divisions and serves as corporate secretary to the Board of Directors. Prior to joining The Myers-Briggs Company, Thad was Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs at MegaPath Inc. (formerly Covad Communications), a national telecommunications services provider; Vice President and co-founder of Equilar, Inc., a provider of executive compensation data and analytics; and an associate in the corporate legal departments at three major law firms, including Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, where he started his legal career.

Thad received his B.A. in English from the Oberlin College, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and received his J.D. with distinction from Stanford Law School.

Jennifer Overbo, Vice President of Global Brand and Marketing

Vice President of Global Brand and Marketing

Jennifer Overbo joined The Myers-Briggs Company in 2009, serving in various marketing and product roles during her tenure. As the VP of Global Brand and Marketing, she is responsible for worldwide marketing strategy and brand development. Jennifer is passionate about helping individuals and teams reach their potential and has built her career working for organizations that exist to help people “be better.”

She holds an M.Ed. from the University of Virginia and began her career developing and managing counseling programs for underemployed women and later worked at University of California, Los Angeles, providing a range of career and recruiting services to students and employers. Just prior to joining The Myers-Briggs Company, Jennifer was Director of Marketing for Jones Knowledge, a holding company for a portfolio of online education companies including the first fully accredited online university. In her role as a manager and regional director for JobDirect.com, she helped establish the start-up’s west-coast presence and customer base before it was successfully sold to Korn Ferry International in 2000.

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys volunteering with her daughter as a member of the National Charity League as well as digging into all things creative and design oriented.

Nicole Trapasso, Vice President, Human Resources & Organizational Development

Vice President, Human Resources & Organizational Development

Nicole Trapasso joined The Myers-Briggs Company in 2000. She brings to her role more than 20 years of experience in leading innovative HR management and organizational development with a practical focus on using best practices to build and sustain a learning culture that is supportive and empowering . During her tenure, Nicole has instituted cascading goals, performance management, succession planning, culture surveys, professional development, workforce planning, Be Better University, and numerous other initiatives that build accountable, resourceful, and resilient cultures where talented people want to work.

Prior to joining The Myers-Briggs Company, she was HR Manager at First World Communications, responsible for managing the full spectrum of HR from recruitment, management training, and employee relations to compensation, benefits, and payroll. She holds a B.A. in art history from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon.
