Getting ready for work

In December, our consultants delivered MBTI training to a client in the higher education sector – find out more in this short round-up of activity

As we look ahead to 2019, how did our consultants finish off 2018? And what was the highlight of the year?

Self-awareness in higher education
Our client – a university – integrates personal development workshops with its doctorate programme to prepare its students for careers in industry. By increasing self-awareness, students can understand their behavioural drivers, their interpersonal style and their likely management approach. It also helps them appreciate people’s different ways of working – all useful tools for finding success in the workplace.

Developing managers in direct sales
To help a numbers-focused, direct sales organization prepare for expansion and growth, we delivered MBTI training for 25 managers in west London. By learning their strengths and development areas, and how to communicate with each other and the business, the managers came away with a plan for how to leverage their strengths and perform effectively.

After all that, what was the big news of 2018? There was only one contender, really.

ABP Awards success
When talking about consultancy highlights of 2018, it’s hard to beat the night of Thursday, 11 October – because that’s when The Myers-Briggs Company won the ABP Award for Excellence in Change Management. Principal Consultants Ruth Patel and Ben Vernazza attended the event and were delighted to collect the award. Huge congratulations again to Ruth and Ben for this superb achievement! Best wishes for a successful 2019 from everyone in team!
