FIRO leads the way for property investment
Our client – a residential, retail and business property developer – wanted a devel-opment event for six senior leaders whose roles changed in the last 18 months. They felt their performance could be improved by learning how to share challenges, build trust and support each other. The FIRO tool was the way to do it. The leaders had a half-day FIRO event together, followed by individual coaching sessions for each team member.
Restructured team builds on strengths
A fittings supplier for the furniture, building and hardware supply industries asked for our help. Their executive team was restructured and felt a development programme was needed. Our consultants designed a two-day session with three further team development sessions. The result? A better sense of how to recognize and build strengths, understand preferred ways of working, manage conflict constructively, manage and lead change, and pull together better as an executive team.
Behavioural assessment supports recruitment
Last year, our consultants helped a client with their process for selecting contractors for multi-supplier projects. They introduced behavioural assessment processes. This year we were invited back to help our client recruit a Delivery Manager. We adapted the behavioural assessment materials and processes, designed a new role play and delivered assessor training to help them recruit with confidence.
