OPP chairs symposium at EATP Conference 2015

OPP CEO Penny Moyle and Chairman Robert McHenry will be presenting a symposium Soft Skills Assessment: Applications and Opportunities in the Talent Lifecycle at this year’s EATP conference in Dublin

Ensuring the workforce has the full range of necessary skills is a pressing concern for educators and employers. To this end, increasing attention is being given to non-cognitive competencies such as attitudes, traits, and motivational characteristics.

EATP 2015Penny and Robert’s session – chaired by John Weiner, PSI Services LLC – will look at non-cognitive assessments in such areas as talent identification and development, career management, credentialing, and badging, where the interest in soft skills appears to be increasing.

The panel will give brief individual presentations, before discussing key topics and inviting attendees to ask questions. The aim is to provide an overview of how personality and other non-cognitive assessments can inform the talent development cycle, and to discuss emerging applications of soft skills assessments.

This is just one of the many events at this year’s conference.

The 7th annual E-ATP conference, titled Gaining Advantage through Assessment, will provide guidelines to help Test Owners improve their Testing Programmes. It takes place in Dublin, Ireland at the InterContinental Dublin, 23 – 25 September 2015.
