OPP founder Robert McHenry and company CEO Penny Moyle are presenting papers at the ATP 2014 Innovations in Testing Conference in Arizona this week
The 2014 Innovations in Testing Conference is a key event for gaining knowledge and building industry connections and friendships within the psychological testing and assessment industry.
This year’s ATP conference event is taking place March 2nd-5th at Scottsdale, Arizona, USA. Its combination of workshops, keynote addresses, interactive sessions and discussions, innovation showcases and networking activities promises a cutting edge so sharp, you could carve the Sunday roast with it.
OPP’s contributions come from company founder and Executive Chairman Robert McHenry, and CEO Penny Moyle.
Robert is speaking on “What Will Happen to Recruitment Testing in the Next Five Years?” His paper theorises on the new tools and assessment methods that will have to be devised in a rapidly changing world, and speculates about a future (as touched upon in this recent blog post) based on Mozilla ‘open badges’ and social networking, but without job boards, applicant tracking systems or psychometric tests.
Robert is also co-presenting “Mobile Testing for Employment: Design, Professional, and Legal Considerations for Future Innovation”. With the shift from desktop to mobile well underway, this talk looks at the implications of mobile testing for recruitment and selection, and considers how this area will evolve over the next decade.
Penny will be co-presenting with IPAT President Pamela Becker on “The Evolution of a Market-Driven Assessment Product”. Their talk looks at how today’s assessment developers have to be tuned in to current and changing needs. It examines how and when publishers move forward with development, ensuring that they are in step with customers’ demands for something far-reaching, web-based, easy to use and cost effective.
Conference organiser ATP (Association of test Publishers) is a global, non-profit organisation representing providers of tests, assessment tools and services related to assessment for clinical, occupational, certification, educational and other professional measurement uses. The organisation has been promoting and preserving the general welfare of testing and its value to society in all its forms and uses since 1992.
