OPP has been carrying out research into the relationship between type and culture
The results will be presented next week at the 2013 APTi Conference by OPP’s Betsy Kendall and Rosinski & Company's Philippe Rosinski.
The research investigates how the MBTI model relates to the Cultural Orientations Framework here and is based on information collected from diverse countries and cultures across the world.
The paper – Type? Culture? How to tell them apart – is just one of the presentations at the busy conference. In addition, OPP’s Ingrid Manning will be talking about type dynamics at the conference, and looking at some of the latest training tools. Her session is titled Bringing type dynamics to life for practitioners and end users.
The event is packed with networking and learning opportunities, with an overall theme of putting type into action.
Celebrating the 70th anniversary of the MBTI instrument in 2013, the conference is organised by The Association for Psychological Type International (APTi), the international membership organisation for professional users of personality type and assessments.
The APTi Conference takes place 10-14 July 2013 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Miami, Florida.
