New head of R & D
We have re-organised our research and development team, following the appointment of John Hackston as Head of R & D.
John is a Chartered Psychologist with over 25 years’ experience in helping clients to understand and use psychometric tools and questionnaires. He joins R & D from OPP’s Learning Design and Delivery team, where he ran many of our training programmes and managed a number of projects, the most recent being the design of online learning modules for the new MBTI Foundation programme.
Prior to this John worked in consultancy and research for OPP, managing projects such as the development of European versions of the MBTI Step II instrument. Before joining the company in 1997 he worked for the SHL Group, specialising in research and consultancy in validity and selection.
John comments: “I’m very pleased to be joining the R & D team. This is an exciting time for research in OPP, with lots of innovative projects underway and new ideas being developed. When they find out more, I’m sure our clients will be as intrigued as I was! As a psychologist, I know how important it is that all of these projects are built on a solid foundation, and research and expertise is the key to our success.”
