Financial Accountant
This role supports the financial operations of TMBC both internally and externally by producing accurate and timely reporting.
How this role fits into the business
This role sits within the UK Finance Team. This team/department contributes to the overall success of the business by the preparation of all financial reporting and completion of statutory obligations.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to an efficient month end close process for UK and European operations
- Ensure material general ledger balances are reconciled monthly
- Ensure statutory reporting is done in a timely manner
- Maintain effective system of controls to ensure that accounting records are complete, with all transactions accurately recorded and appropriately authorised
- Sharing Accounts Payable with other members of the team
- Responsibility for our German and Irish companies accounting and related tasks
- Involvement in testing for new ERP software implementation due end Q2 2025
- Timely and accurate submission of VAT for new countries including Luxembourg and Switzerland plus others to be determined
- Work with Financial Controller to submit Corporate Tax Returns in both US and Local GAAP
- Global accounting tasks including some US reporting, tax analysis and other related tasks
- Roles and responsibilities will change once the migration to D365 has taken place, but all will be relevant to the production of accurate and timely management information and statutory deadlines
