Core character poster

This reusable poster is a concise and colourful way to introduce and explore type dynamics with a team or group. It features different areas depicting each dominant function, personifying it as a fun and memorable character. This resource can be used as a great tool for understanding the character of the team as a whole and the distribution of core drivers within it. It will also help to highlight what each core character contributes and where the team’s strengths and blind spots lie.

Quadrants posters

This set of four reusable posters is the next in a series of tools to help groups who have already received feedback discover a different lens for applying their preferences. Focusing on the energy orientation and information-processing preferences (EN, IS, ES or IN) and how they combine, the quadrants lens is particularly helpful in exploring people’s approach to change, including their reactions and coping strategies.

These posters use evocative descriptors to sum up each quadrant, helping users understand how they use their type in their work, and they contrast with others. Practitioners can use these posters in conjunction with the functional pairs posters and/or the temperaments posters to carry out a series of ‘living type table’ exercises.

Temperaments posters

These four reusable posters complete a series of tools to help type-familiar users discover another lens for applying their preferences. Focusing on David Kiersey’s temperaments preference combinations (NF, NT, SJ or SP), this lens is particularly helpful in exploring people’s attitudes to leadership – both their own style as a leader and the type of leadership they respond to as a follower.

With lively phrases describing the core of each temperament, these posters help users recognise how people with different temperaments approach a task. Practitioners can use these posters in conjunction with the functions posters and/or the quadrants posters to carry out a series of ‘living type table’ exercises.

Problem solver posters

These reusable posters are an invaluable tool for running group sessions on improved decision making and problem solving. They provide participants with an easy-to-grasp framework (sometimes called the Zig Zag model) and help them to balance their natural preferences.

One poster describes the model and the other four posters prompt questions relevant to each of the functional preferences. This poster set can be complimented by Pocket problem solver cards which users can take away with them to help them with decision making or problem solving every day.

Functional pairs posters

This set of four reusable posters is one of a series of tools to help teams who know their best-fit type discover a new lens for applying their preferences. Focusing on the middle two letters of each person’s type (NF, NT, SF or ST) and how they combine, the functional pairs lens is particularly helpful in exploring communication, influencing and decision-making styles.

With colourful descriptors that capture the essence of each functional pair, these posters help users get to grips with how their type is expressed and how others differ. Practitioners can use these posters in conjunction with the quadrant pairs posters and/or the temperament pairs posters to carry out a series of ‘living type table’ exercises.
