2022 Training Magazine Network Choice Awards – Leadership Development

Leadership development is important for any organization's growth and success. Effective leadership is the cornerstone of a high-performing and motivated workforce, as it sets the tone for organizational culture, fosters innovation, and drives employee engagement. By investing in leadership development programs, companies can cultivate a pool of capable leaders who possess the necessary skills to navigate complex challenges, inspire their teams, and adapt to ever-changing business landscapes.

The Myers-Briggs Company was thrilled to be recognized and awarded as a top choice for HR practitioners in the leadership development category. Whether it’s from our webinars around leadership or our newest offering like the Inclusive Leadership Workshop, we’re recognized as a vendor of choice in this critical area of training and development.

2022 Training Magazine Network Choice Awards – Measurement, Testing and Assessment

Incorporating assessments into training and development programs is a strategic imperative for HR professionals. Using scientifically validated psychometric tools for measurement and assessment can enhance organizational performance and individual growth. Assessments serve as invaluable tools for identifying employees' strengths, areas for improvement, and developmental needs. They provide objective and data-driven insights, enabling HR teams to tailor training initiatives that align precisely with each employee's unique requirements. Moreover, assessments promote self-awareness among employees, fostering a deeper understanding of their skills, preferences, and potential career paths. By fostering self-awareness, employees are more receptive to feedback, open to learning, and actively engaged in their professional development journey.

We were very excited to be selected by HR practitioners to be awarded in this category, as we believe in the power of assessment and measurement to drive forward organizational objectives and development initiatives. There are many different psychometric tools available for use, and we pride ourselves in having the most effective tools and training practitioners to use them in a way that’s ethical, valuable, and timeless.

As a Certified B Corp, The Myers-Briggs Company was extremely proud to receive this award from the Investors in people. One of the core responsibilities of being a B Corp is working toward the triple bottom line: people, planet and profits. When it comes to people, whether it’s the people who work for us or those who need help from us, our company mission is to inspire everyone to lead more successful and fulfilling lives. When we focus on people, we make a positive impact for our employees, our customers, and our community. And this award from Investors in People is just one of the many outside validations that we’re accomplishing our mission, as a company and as a B Corp.

Women’s Choice Award: Best Companies for Social Impact

Companies that meet the threshold for outstanding treatment of their employees and the community within which they work are considered for this award. Focus is also given to supply chain ethics and corporate giving toward community and social needs.

While the Investors in People Award recognized our initiatives for making our workplace great for employees, this award recognizes companies for their treatment of employees and the impact they have on the communities they operate in.

Whether it was our work with our charity partner San Francisco Achievers or the various volunteering events that employees attended in support of their community, we were honored to receive this award and recognition.

Women’s Choice Award: Best Companies for Environmental Impact

Companies that best care for the environment in which they work are the ones who’re evaluated to receive this award. Focus is given to input and output limitation of waste, recycling results, and corporate giving toward environmental needs.

And part of being a Certified B Corp is being environmentally responsible as an organization. For us, that means reducing packaging, integrating more digital product offerings to cut down paper waste, and offering more virtual courses and workshops to slow pollution caused by travel.

We’re at a pivotal point for global climate change and reducing our carbon footprint and carbon offsetting are key initiatives for our company. As part of our commitment to a low carbon future, we’re working hard on the digital transformation of our business. We also source electricity from renewable sources, limit travel to essential needs, and work to offset carbon where we can. This outside recognition of our environmental efforts is exciting and humbling, and we look forward to continuing to leave the planet better than we found it!
