EFPSA congress: MBTI tool addresses cultural differences

The week-long European Federation of Psychology Students’ Associations (EFPSA) congress in Izmir, Turkey, runs until 27 April.

EFPSA congress 2013The theme of the 2013 EFPSA Congress is "Spice it up! Understanding cultural differences". It’s aim is to mix, celebrate and talk about different cultures and how they go about their daily business.

Ebba’s presentations are “An exploration of preferred organisational culture characteristics across UK, French and Dutch managers”, and “Culture and the expression of personality type”. The latter paper is based upon studies carried out by OPP on the subject of cultural differences, using the insights of the MBTI instrument.

EFPSA, the European Federation of Psychology Student’s Association, established in 1987, consists of 28 psychology students’ organisations from 28 European countries. Its membership currently boasts approximately 300,000 psychology students across Europe.
