OPP at 2013 BAPT Conference

OPP Lead Consultant Gil Parsons will be running a conflict management workshop at the 2013 BAPT Conference

BAPT ConferenceBAPT Conference

BAPT (The British Association for Psychological Type) was established to promote knowledge and good practice in the application of type – not just for qualified users of the MBTI® instrument but for everyone interested in Jungian psychological type theory. The annual conference provides a national focus for this meeting of minds.

Summarising her workshop, Gil says: “We will be acknowledging some of the obvious sources of conflict between types and thinking about some of the less obvious irritations, exploring why these differences sometimes cause conflict.

“We will also look at some of the conflicts within individual type and between dimensions, and discuss how to work with these. Finally we will look at which dimensions are more likely to influence our behaviour in conflict situations, and examine the strategies we might use to manage them effectively.”

This year’s conference takes place at Hoddesdon in Hertfordshire, 2-3 March 2013, with a pre-conference workshop, ‘Type and Leadership’, on the preceding Friday. Find out more about the event by visiting the BAPT website.
