OPP announces new executive structure

Both Moyle and McHenry will focus on growth opportunities in new territories, including Eastern Europe, Russia, India, South-East Asia and China. The company will also be creating new offers specifically designed for the end user, to provide value through a greater understanding of their own personality and its impact on their lives. OPP’s US office will take the lead on assessments for public safety and security roles in addition to the historical core business of applying personality assessment to the selection and development of employees in corporate roles.

OPP, which has its UK headquarters in Oxford, employs over 150 people, including business psychologists, consultants, a multilingual call centre, and a Sales and Marketing division.

Penny Moyle's move to CEO comes after 12 years within OPP. Her experience stretches across all of its major business functions, including: consultancy and training, research and development, product development, marketing, international offices, and distributor and partner management.

Moyle says: "This is an exciting time to take on the role of Chief Executive Officer at OPP. We have become one of the market leaders in psychology at work in Europe and we’re going to use this wealth of experience and expertise to target new geographies and audiences.

"I am looking forward to continuing to work closely with Robert and the executive team to drive the business forward."

Penny graduated from the University of Adelaide (Australia) and holds a doctorate in Experimental Psychology from Oxford University. Prior to joining OPP, Penny held a Prize Research Fellowship at Nuffield College, Oxford and worked as a consultant, where she used OPP assessment tools to unlock potential in several public and private organisations through management and team development interventions.

Robert McHenry founded OPP Ltd in 1989 and has built the company into an international business with offices in Oxford, Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Chicago and Champaign IL. For much of his career, he has worked as a consultant in business psychology for the public and private sectors on staff selection, performance management, succession planning and organisational change.

Robert holds a doctorate in Experimental Psychology from Oxford University, is Lecturer in Experimental Psychology at Oriel College, and is a member of the University’s Division of Medical Sciences.
