Content Marketing Project Manager

To co-ordinate and support the development and delivery of high-impact marketing content for a variety of media to drive engagement in the company’s products and services through thought leadership, customer advocacy and strong brand articulation.

This role sits within the Global Marketing Communications team, and is based in Oxford with the option for hybrid or remote working flexibility. The team contributes to the overall success of the business by generating awareness and interest in the company’s products and services, and supporting customer sales, engagement and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities 

  • Manage requests that come into the Marketing Content team, ensuring there is a clear brief in terms of deliverables and timeframes
  • As required, manage requests, and provide clear briefs to the content services team, liaising with stakeholders to establish deadlines and reviews
  • Manage requests for updates to product information on our websites
  • Work with stakeholders and team members to estimate effort, assign and schedule work, flagging resourcing issues with Global Content Marketing and PR Manager
  • Maintain and monitor active content marketing tasks and work with team members and stakeholders to review progress and establish priorities according to business goals and key initiatives
  • Share information about the ongoing development and availability of new content with the global marketing team and provide regular communication to the wider business about what’s new
  • Ensure employees and other user groups, such as partners, have access to up-to-date files for sales and marketing assets
  • Provide technical administration for marketing department site in SharePoint, including access to employee resource repository, internal graphic design repository, marketing calendar, and updates from the marketing programs team
  • Maintain templates for Word documents, PowerPoint decks and graphic files for social posts and other marketing media
  • Review copy for marketing collateral and websites as needed
  • Review design and copy created by the content marketing team as needed
  • Project manage content development for all marketing campaigns, working with the Marketing Programs and Product Marketing teams to explore and define campaign goals, marketing assets, and delivery schedules
  • Oversee and contribute to content strategy for marketing campaigns
  • Project manage content marketing requests for product launches
  • Collect and organize data on performance of content marketing assets
  • Contribute to the development and upkeep of the global marketing calendar, ensuring deliverables are aligned with key dates and events
  • Work with team mates to identify and develop thought leadership content, such as blog posts, reports and tip sheets
  • Work with design team to present easy-to-follow yet robust corporate style guidelines
  • Review and correct material created outside of the global marketing team to maintain the highest standards for the company’s brand image
  • Source and develop stock imagery for use in company materials
  • Co-ordinate the translation and transcreation of marketing assets for global use, working with Localisation Manager
